In recent years, the research on the basic theory of military law has gradually integrated a lot of important achievements. The scholars in military law have actively researched some basic theory issues, such as the concept and regulative scope of military law, the status of an independent law department of military law, the military power, the system of military law, and the research method of military law etc. All of these achievements have much advanced the level of theory research in military law, and pushed the research to the new level.
