Research on the Narrative Structure of “Chinese Boxes” in Sophie's World

乔斯坦·贾德在《苏菲的世界》中采用了"中国套盒"式的叙事结构,使用处于不同时空内的3个独立而又相互关联的层面构造了文本,内层故事由其外一层的人物讲述并对外层故事产生影响。3个层面各具特色,打破了常规的套盒展出顺序,又依据哲学内容的讲述合理转换并交叉进行,使得作品的形式与内容相得益彰。

In Sophie＇s World,Jostein Gaarder uses the narrative structure of Chinese boxes and creates3independent but correlative texts in different time and space.In the novel,the internal stories are told by the figures in another text and have an influence on the external stories.With their own characteristics,the three texts are manifested irregularly but rationally according to philosophical content,which makes the form and content of the novel complement each other.
