On Significance of Pursuing Quality in Highlighting the Academic Journal Functions

学报对于企业而言,应彰显四大作用:成为外界了解油田科技动态的"窗口";链接企业间学术交流的"桥梁";展示油田科技成果的重要"平台";加强油田精神文明建设的"阵地"。要发挥好学报的作用,就必须采取跟进措施,坚持走质量兴刊的道路。

The journal should highlight its four functions in the oilfield enterprise： a window to show the enterprise＇s technology development tendency to outside world; a bridge to link enterprise--enterprise academic exchange; a platform to display the enterprise＇ s scientific and technological achievements; and front to enhance its spiritual civili- zation. To make full use of these functions, it is necessary to follow--up measures and keep the path of pursuing the quality to ensure a healthy growth of the journal.
