垂直专业化、知识产权保护与我国制造业技术创新

Vertical Specialization,IPR Protection and Technological Innovation of Chinese Manufacturing Industries

近年来,随着我国逐步融入全球生产网络,制造业参与国际分工的垂直专业化水平显著提升。本文利用我国相关年份的投入产出表,测算了制造业细分行业垂直专业化水平,并运用2000—2011年我国15个制造业分行业的面板数据,实证检验了垂直专业化对我国制造业技术创新的影响;在此基础上,本文进一步检验了我国知识产权制度对垂直专业化的创新效应影响研究。实证结果表明,参与国际垂直专业化分工提升了我国制造业技术创新能力,其中一般贸易垂直专业化对我国技术创新水平的提高具有促进作用,而加工贸易垂直专业化对我国技术创新水平的提高产生了抑制作用。与此同时,研究发现当前我国适度的知识产权保护,更有利于垂直专业化对我国技术创新水平的推动作用。

With the rapid expansion of global production network, China has taken part in pro- duction of international vertical specialization with comparative advantages of cost like cheap labor and producer resources, which rapidly promotes the advancement of technology and development of economy. This paper uses Chinese input-output tables of relevant years of 2000,2002,2005,2007 and 2010 when it measures the levels of vertical specialization of respective Chinese manufacturing industries. On the basis of the panel data from 2000 to 2011 of 15 Chinese respective manufacturing industries, this paper empirically examines the impact of vertical specialization on technological in- novation of Chinese manufacturing industries. Based on it, this paper further examines the effect of Chinese IPR protection on technological innovation. The results of the research show that taking part in international vertical specialization promotes the ability of the level of technological innova tion of Chinese manufacturing industries. Meanwhile, the relatively lower intensity of IPR protection in China improves the promotion of Chinese technological innovation level from vertical specialization.
