气体放电管(GDT)是开关型电涌保护器的关键元件之一,去年国际电工委员会(IEC)发布了GDT的新标准,全面阐述了应用于低压电涌保护器的GDT的性能要求、测试方法、选择及其应用原则。通过对新标准的解读,并结合防雷工程实践,进一步提高对GDT在低压电涌保护器应用过程中的安全性和可靠性的认识。

Gas discharge tude（ GDT） is one of the key components switched surge protector. New standard for GDT,which was published by IEC in 2013,comprehensively set forth the performance and requirement,measurement method,selection and application principle of GDT uesed in low voltage surge protector. Through the interpretation of the new standard and combined with the practice of lightning protection,the security and reliability of GDT in the application of low voltage surge protector can be further recognized.
