边境旅游研究进展及其启示

A Review of Border Tourism and Implications

作为旅游业的一个重要组成部分,边境旅游的发展对繁荣边疆经济、巩固边疆稳定、促进国家对外开放、国际经贸合作发挥着积极作用。近年来,随着国内外边境旅游业迅速发展,有关边境旅游的学术研究文献也逐渐增多,也有不少学者做了相关文献的综述。但是,这些综述多集中在国内边境旅游方面,很少关注到国外边境旅游的发展,从而在一定程度上阻碍了学界对我国边境旅游发展的综合理解。因此,本文在梳理国内外边境旅游文献的基础之上,对国内外边境旅游研究进展进行了综述。该综述从以下几个方面展开:①基础理论研究;②边境旅游需求研究;③边境旅游供给研究;④边境旅游综合效应研究;⑤边境旅游管理与调控研究。通过五个方面的研究,本文发现:与国外相比,国内对于边境旅游的研究无论在深度和广度上都存在较大差距。有鉴于此,国内边境旅游研究应立足国家需求,加强基础理论研究,构建边境旅游的基础理论体系,拓展研究领域,深化边境旅游政策体系研究,采取多学科综合方法,推进边境旅游研究定量化,并依托边境重点旅游口岸,进行典型案例模式研究,强化国际学术交流与合作,提升研究水平。

As an important part of the tourism industry, the development of border tourism plays an active role in promoting economic prosperity of the frontier and strengthening stability in border areas. It also has an important effect on improving the openness of a nation and economic and trade cooperation internationally. In recent years, especially with the rapid development of domestic tourism along borders, the number of studies on border tourism has gradually increased. A study of the number of papers shows that foreign border tourism research started earlier, and the distribution of foreign border tourism research by area varies. Now many researchers in Asia are paying attention to border tourism, especially in China. As one of Asia＇s largest countries, China shares a border with 14 countries. Border tourism has been an important leading industry in sub-regional cooperation with neighboring countries. However, research reviews have all reviewed Chinese literature, and lack a comprehensive understanding of border tourism development internationally. Here, research progress in border tourism is examined by combing the literature on border tourism in China and internationally. The review comprises basic research; border tourism demand research; border tourism supply research; border tourism＇ s effect research; border tourism management; and control research. We found a great disparity between domestic and international research on border tourism. Chinese research should focus on national demands to build a system of basic theories; expand the research field and do further research on border tourism policy; take an integrated multidisciplinary approach; promote quantitative research on border tourism; rely on key ports as case studies; strengthen international academic cooperation; and enhance research levels.
