As time goes on, many retired career athletes who had armband for our country competitive sports appear being unable to adapt to life, thus cause social problems emerged gradually. The root of it is because the lack of culture in competitive sports. Therefore, in view of the Chinese traditional sports culture, this article discusses the lack of culture in contemporary competitive sports, to provide reference for the construction of sports culture with Chinese characteristics.
