从纽曼到洪堡再到科尔,世界高等教育的发展经历了从精英化到大众化的发展过程,在这个过程中,大学理想与大学使命同样走过了一条不断嬗变的路程。时逢我国高等高等教育进入大众化发展阶段,大学要在内外部力量的支持下实现它的理想,完成它的使命。

From Newman to Homburg and then to Cole, the world higher education has undergone a developing process from the education of elites to that of the mass, in which the ideals and missions of a university have also undergone a transformative process. Currently, our higher education has entered the developmental stage of mass education, universities shall fulfill their ideals and missions with the support of internal and external forces.
