An Analysis and Evaluation of Regional Competitiveness of Shandong Province by Factor Analysis Method in 2012

介绍了区域竞争力的概念,在此基础上,从经济综合实力和可持续发展能力两个角度构建区域竞争力评价指标体系,运用因子分析方法,对山东省2012年17地市的区域竞争力进行了评价和分析.研究指出:山东省东、西部地区竞争力发展明显不平衡,特别是在经济发展和居民生活、教育水平这三个方面上的差距尤为明显.针对问题提出相应的政策建议:突出不同区域的错位发展,加强区域间的合作;重视西部地区的教育和科技发展;提高居民收入和生活水平.

On the basis of introducing the concept of the regional competitiveness, constructing regional com- petitiveness evaluation index sy ment ability, we evaluated and stem from two aspects of economic comprehensive strength and sustainable develop- analyzed the 17 Cities of the regional competitiveness in Shandong Province in 2012 by the factor analysis method. The study pointed out： the east and west region of Shandong Province is obviously unbalanced in development competitiveness, especially in the three aspects of economic development and people life, the education level between which the gap is obvious. Aiming at the questions to propose the corresponding policy recommendations ： to highlight dislocation development of different regions, to strengthen the regional cooper- ation ; to pay attention to the education in Western China and the development of science and technology, and to in- crease the income and living standards
