海图是船舶航行的最基本的工具之一,随着计算技术和航海技术的发展,海图的技术革命越来越被人们所瞩目,与之相适应,出现了电子海图显示与信息系统(ELECTRONIC CHART DISPLAY AND INFORMATIONSYSTEM缩写为ECDIS)。本文介绍了有关ECDIS的研制动向与中国目前的研制现状。

Chart is one of the basest means of navigation.With the developmentof computer and navigation,the technical revolution of chart becomes thefocus of the world attention.To adopt for this situation,electronic chartdisplay and information sysyem(ECDIS)comes into being.This paper pre-sents the trend for the development of ECDIS and its developing situationin China.
