The Prosperity and Its Causes of the Creation of Military Writing According to the Emperor's Orders in Taiyuan in the Tang Dynasty

唐代太原的军国应制文创作,持续了三百年的繁荣。作家阵容庞大,创作水平很高,向庙堂输送了大量制诰文创作的人才。同时,部分文人在太原的创作也对同类文体的发展走向产生了巨大影响。太原的政治、军事地位是北都军国应制文繁荣的前提,而太原自北朝以来军国应制文学习、创作的地域传统是其文化基础。

The prosperity of the creation of military writing according to the emperor ’s orders in Taiyuan in the Tang Dynasty lasted three hundred years .With huge author lineup and high‐level creation ,lots of talent in the creation of the writing according to the emperor ’s orders were pro‐vided for the court .At the same time ,the creation of some men of letters in Taiyuan had a great effect on the development trend of the same kind of writing style .Taiyuan’s political and military status is the premise of the prosperity of the creation of military w riting according to the emper‐or’s orders in the north capital ,and the regional tradition of its learning and creation in Taiyuan since the Northern Dynasties is its cultural basis .
