通过卫星进行报纸版面传输是我国卫星应用的新领域之一。与传统的报纸印刷方法比较,它具有信息量大、时效性好、费用低等优点。北京大学采用PES卫星系统做了大量试验,取得了理想的效果。目前,这种版面传输的方法已经成为各大报社的开发方向。

It is one of the new fields in satellite application to send news-paper printing via satellite. Compared with traditional printing, it fea-tures vast content, lower cost, and higher time-efficiency. Peking University did a lot of tests and achieved ideal results by using PES satellite system. Today, satellite sending printing has become a trend in major newspaper offices.
