On the Future of the BRICS Cooperation Mechanism——Analysis of the Process and Interest Basis ofthe Game between Countries

金砖合作保持了平稳推进的势头,影响金砖合作的主要有三方面:分别是当前国际格局的现状,金砖国家实力上升对国际格局产生的冲击;西方国家对金砖合作的应对策略;金砖国家自身在金砖合作中的利益考虑及其相互作用。金砖合作本身是相关国家自主博弈的结果,金砖国家相互之间虽然存在多方面的差异,但合作从根本上符合金砖国家的长期战略利益,并在实现相关利益方面具有其他平台不可替代的作用。随着时间推移,金砖合作在国际经济和全球治理领域将发挥越来越重要的作用。

The BRICS cooperation has maintained a steady momentum. It is influenced by three factors： first,the impact the rise of the strength of the BRICS countries has on the international pattern; second, thecoping strategies adopted by the Western countries in response to the BRICS cooperation; third, the interest considerations ofthe BRICS countries and their interaction. The BRICScooperation is in itself a result of the independent game between themselves. In spite of the diverse differences between the five nations, the cooperation ultimately accords withtheir respective long-term strategic interests, and has an irreplaceable role thanother platformsin terms of realizing relevant interests. With the passage of time, the BRICS cooperation will play a more and more important role in international economy and global governance.
