The Reflection of IELTS Speaking Test on College Oral English Teaching

雅思口语考试能有效地考查学生的实际英语应用能力。我国的大学英语口语教学应积极借鉴雅思口语测试的理念和方法,把英语口语教学和交际能力培养有机结合起来,从教学方法、文化教学、评价体系等方面积极开展口语教学改革,以有效提高学生的语言应用能力。

IELTS speaking test can effectively examine the students＇ practical competence in English. College oral English teaching in China should draw on the experience of the ideas and methods of IELTS speaking test, combining oral English teaching with the training of communicative competence. The paper puts forward some suggestions on the reform of teaching modes, cultural teaching and oral English testing system, etc. Therefore, the students＇ language competence can be effectively improved.
