摘要
本文首先考察semogenesis的词源,明确界定概念"语义发生";接着回顾系统功能语言学框架中语义发生理论的发展历程,内容涉及理论定义及哲学基础、语言个案研究、读写模式研究、语篇分析等,指出现有研究的整体性和目标性存在不足。作者进而梳理术语"语义发生"与"语法化"的关系,展望与演化语言学和认知语言学等学科结合或借鉴的研究路径及方法,从理论建构和适用性两方面说明该领域阶段性的研究目标是结合历史语言学、社会语言学、语料库语言学等相关学科来整合理论框架,建立语义发生语料库,开展历时研究等。
This paper firstly clarifies the definition of semogenesis by examining its etymology. A retrospect of the development of the systemic-functional theory of semogenesis is then presented, covering its connotations and methodologies in existing literature. Af- ter enumerating the relevant achievements, it is argued that the flaws of previous researches lie in the inadequacy of theoretical systematicity and explicit objectives. Then some related disciplines, such as evolutionary linguistics, cognitive linguistics, etc., are introduced, which are postulated to enhance future study of semogenesis in research approach and methodology. It is conclu- ded that the subsequent research is to integrate the theoretical framework by incorporating relevant disciplines such as historical linguistics, sociolinguistics, corpus linguistics, and cognitive linguistics, to create semogenesis-oriented corpora, and to conduct more diachronic researches.
