也说双关语的解读机制——兼谈最佳关联推定策略的细化

On the Interpretation Mechanism of Puns

目前对双关语解读机制的阐释,大多借助关联理论。但是,这些阐释又都承认双关语句存在第二解读,这违背关联理论中最佳关联推定策略的第一解读原则。为了解决这一矛盾,文章对最佳关联推定策略进行细化,区分出双关语句和双关词语两个层面,认为在双关语句层面,仍然坚持最佳关联推定的第一解读原则;在双关词语层面,承认双关词语有两重语义参与第一解读的语义整合过程。文章还分析了双关语最佳关联推定偏离现象。

The present interpretation mechanisms of puns are mostly explained by relevance theory. However, these explanations are all admit that a sentence with a pun can he understood by two ways which is contrary to the presumption of optimal relevance that ac- claims only the first accessible interpretation consistent with the relevance principle can be the interpretation of the sentence. It can solve this contradiction to refine the presumption model of optimal relevance, and to differentiate the two levels of sentence and word. Namely, at the sentence level, the principle of the first interpretation is insisted; at the word level, there are two meanings of a word involving in the semantic integration process of the first interpretation. Finally, The article also analyzes the deviation of nuns＇ presumption of optimal relevance.
