Aiming at the requirements of college English specialization, the excellent characteristics of agriculture proverbs were analyzed, itwas pointed out that proverbs of agriculture are a breakthrough point to combine the teaching of agriculture knowledge and the acquisition ofcollege English. The aim is to improve agricultural universities students＇ English learning ability, and cultivate innovative, compound, practi-cal skill type agriculture talents.
