作为我国"四大名砚"之一,洮砚拥有千余年历史。在这一千余年里,洮砚的雕刻工艺经历了由简到繁、由粗到精、由人工雕凿到现代化技术介入等变化。这些变化不仅反映了洮砚雕刻工艺的传承情况,也反映了不同时代对洮砚的价值需求和审美取向。

As one of the “four famous inkstone” of China,Taoyan has a thousand years of history. In these thousand years, Taoyan Carving experienced some changes from simple to complex, from coarse to fine, from hand carving to the inter- vention of modern technology. These changes reflect not only the heritage of Taoyan carving, but also reflects the value of the different needs of the times and the aesthetic orientation of Taoyan.
