在单位的局域网维护中,经常需要检测机房的温度,当过高时需要及时报警,以防出现因空调停机造成机房温度升高,导致服务器、交换机、防火墙、硬盘存储等设备损坏的事件发生。在夏季,这种温度检测报警的措施就显得尤为重要。基于一款不足百元的USB温度检测器,通过编写CMD命令,实现了在局域网中对中心机房进行随时温度检测和报警的功能。

To keep LAN running safely and reliably, it is often required to measure the temperature of the central computer room in case of overheat conditions. Overheat which is mostly due to the failure of air-condition could cause damage to Servers, Switchs, Firewall, Storage Units, and etc. In summer, alerting techniques for overheat become more and more important. Here, based on a USB temperate sensor which costs less than 100 yuan RMB, and lines of CMD codes, the temperatures were measured for the central computer room and the overheat alerts were sent over the LAN.
