Parents characteristics of good quality hybrid middle-season rice Guangliangyou No.5 were summarized,and high-yield seed production techniques were proposed from selecting seed breeding base,arranging the period of seeding and transplanting reasonably,cultivating strong seedling,inserting adequate seedling,fertilizer and water management etc.,so as to provide reference for the high yield of Guangliangyou No.5.
