基于小型语料库的英语简历话语分析

English Resume Discourse Analysis based on Students' English Resume Corpus

英语简历撰写是求职者必须掌握的技能之一。文章基于自建学生英语简历语料库,运用检索工具Antconc3.2.4w,结合文化语境、情境语境与语言语境,分析学生英语简历写作存在的问题:语类结构不规范,行为动词缺乏多样性,且不符合以英语为母语的语言使用习惯等。由此提出建议:在英语简历写作培训时教师应帮助学生充分认知语类结构与功能,并使他们的语言表征符合招聘方的文化语境与情境语境。

English resume writing is one of the essential skills that job seekers shall acquire. Based on the students＇ English resume corpus and using the search tool Antconc3. 2. 4w,this article reveals the problems that exist in students＇ English resume writing including inappropriate generic structures and lack of diversity and accuracy in the use of action words,context of culture,situation and language. Therefore,it is advisable to help students fully recognize the generic structure of resume and the corresponding functions,as well as make their linguistic expressions appropriate to the interviewers＇ cultural and situational context.
