Progress in identification of plant pathogen using matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization time of flight mass spectrometry

摘要 基质辅助激光解吸电离飞行时间质谱(MALDI-TOF MS)技术具有快速和高通量特点,适合分析微量蛋白质、多肽、多糖和核酸,该技术已在生命科学领域广泛应用。本文综述了MALDI-TOF MS技术原理以及近年来在植物病原真菌和细菌鉴定方面的研究进展。MALDI-TOF MS作为一种简便和快捷的检测技术,必将在植物病原菌鉴定领域发挥更大的作用。 Matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization time of flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS) with rapid, high throughput characteristics is suitable for analysis of trace proteins, peptides, polysaccharides, and nucleic acids. The technology has been widely applied in the field of life sciences. This paper reviewed the development and principle of MALDI-TOF MS and the newest research progress in identification of plant pathogenic fungi and bacteria. As a convenient, fast identification technique, MALDI-TOF MS should play a greater role in the field of identification of plant pathogens.
