榆枯萎病在欧美等国流行时间长、影响大,相关国家从病原菌种类、病菌流行及变异、菌株致病差异、病害分布、传播媒介、抗病机理、抗性种群、综合治理等诸多领域对榆枯萎病进行了广泛深入研究。榆枯萎病在我国至今没有证据表明已有发生,但国内学者仍对榆枯萎病保持了高度关注,从病害的起源、致病机理、检疫鉴定、风险分析及诸多疑似榆枯萎病事件等方面进行了研究。
