《等待》是华裔美国作家哈金最为成功的一部小说,作品讲述了军医孔林的一生情感变化与纠葛。运用弗洛伊德的人格结构理论来分析孔林的情感变化的深层原因,即本我、自我和超我的激烈冲突。通过分析孔林的内心世界,提出孔林要想获得健康的人格和生活的安详,必须根据外界环境的变化,正确调节本我、自我和超我。

Waiting, a masterpiece of the Chinese-American writer Ha Jin, tells the emotional entangle- ments and changes of a military medical officer in his life. This paper uses Freud＇s human psyche to ana- lyze the reasons for Lin Kong＇s emotional change and his internal world, and points out that Lin can not a- chieve mental health and peaceful living before he adjusts himself to the changing external environment.
