Past, Future, and Totem Dream--A Review of Jiulong Myth Research

九隆神话多学科价值皆备,是深蕴于哀牢民族心灵中的集体记忆。九隆神话在《哀牢传》、《华阳国志》、《后汉书》、《水经注》等史籍中均有记载,且散见于哀牢后裔活形态生活之中。今有《九隆神话研究》一书出版,以多学科的视角对九隆神话进行多方位的审视,在研究体系、研究内容和观点上皆有所获,弥补了九隆神话研究一直以来无专著,仅以单篇论述为主的完整性不足、宏观和微观视野结合欠缺的研究缺憾。现为著作推介和促进学术再探讨之目的,对《九隆神话研究》进行略加述评,以求抛砖引玉。

Jiulong Myth reveals the collective unconsciousness of Ailao people, and is of multidisciplinary value. The Myth was recorded in History of Ailao, Huayang Annals; Book of the Later Han Dynasty, Commentary on the Waterways Classic, and many other historical records, it was also embodied in the daily life of Ailao descendants. The newly published Jiulong Myth Research makes up for the insufficiency of previous studies such as lack of research books, absence of combined macroscopic and microscopic research views with achievements in research system, research contents and ideas from a multidisciplinary research perspective. The author makes a few comments on the book to serve as a modest spur to induce others to come up with their valuable contributions.
