Inadequacy in ideological and political education exists under the information environment. This paper explores new ways of ideological and political education under the Internet information environment. It proposes optimizing the model of traditional ideological and political education and carrying out network-based ideological and political education to deal with the inadequacy of ideological and political education and make it play a greater role.
