方案设计将海口市永兴镇美孝村的保护视为保护改善遗址、展现火山文化源地形象、突出古村落的聚落形态、打造生态文化旅游项目的综合性工作,对基地现状进行分析,建成案例对比,得出一些启示,在本体保护与文化传承相结合、居民生活改善与发展旅游产业相结合、古建筑保护与古村保护相结合等领域作出探索.
