Based on the statistical analysis of the papers published in Hydrographic Surveying and Charting in 2013,this paper presents the summarization and brief comment of the current developing situation in the professional fields of marine geodesy,remote sensing image processing,nautical charting,etc from a developing perspective of marine surveying and mapping in order to provide some references for the surveyors.
