摘要
为了实现对UMQL的有效处理,提出了通用多媒体查询代数MQA。通过常规选择、结构选择和时空选择等代数运算来处理UMQL中的结构表达式、特征表示式和时空表达式,很好地保持了与UMQL查询描述能力的一致性,能有效地处理UMQL。
UMQL ( unified multimedia query language) , which has powerful ability to specify complicated multime-dia query requirements, can support effectively queries based on the content, structure and spatio-temporal rela-tionships of multimedia data.In order to treat with UMQL effectively and efficiently, we propose a type of multime-dia query algebra, called MQA by us.It defines structured selection and spatio-temporal selection to treat with structure feature conditions and spatio-temporal conditions of UMQL, which makes its ability on query specification in accordant with UMQL, thus implementing a very effective treatment on UMQL.
