摘要
以苯乙烯(St)、丙烯酸丁酯(BA)、丙烯酸异辛酯(EHA)为单体,过硫酸钾(KPS)为引发剂,以自制壬基酚聚氧乙烯醚(10)衣康酸单酯磺酸二钠盐为乳化剂,采用乳液聚合法合成St/BA/EHA三元共聚乳液。系统考察了乳化剂、引发剂、反应温度和单体滴加方式对乳液聚合影响。确定了乳液合成的较佳条件:乳化剂质量分数2.1%~2.7%,引发剂质量分数0.6%,反应温度80~85℃及采用连续性滴加单体的方式。借助于激光粒度分布仪、FT-IR、DSC和GPC对共聚乳液进行了表征,结果表明:共聚乳液的平均粒径为100~180nm,玻璃化转变温度Tg为17.7℃,共聚物的重均摩尔质量为1.94×10^5 g·mol^-1。衣康酸单酯钠盐乳化剂的乳化性能良好,能够应用于苯丙乳液的制备过程。并与以十二烷基硫酸钠为乳化剂制备的共聚乳液在施胶性能方面进行了比较,结果表明,以衣康酸单酯钠盐为乳化剂制备的乳液纸张抗水性较强,Cobb值可达42.6g·m^-2。
Using styrene(St),n-butyl acrylate(BA)and ethylhexyl acrylate(EHA)as raw materials,potassium persulfate(KPS)as initiator and disodium nonylphenol polyoxyethylene monoester sulfoitaconate as new emulsifier,the St/BA/EHA copolymer emulsion was prepared by emulsion polymerization.Effects of the amount of emulsifier,initiator,temperature,monomers adding and stirring rate were investigated.The optimum reaction condition of St/BA/EHA copolymer emulsion were as follows:emulsifier amount 2.1%—2.7%,initiator amount 0.6%,temperature 80—85℃and continuous adding monomers.The copolymer was characterized by Nano ZS90 laser particle size analyzer,FT-IR,DSC and GPC.The mean diameter of copolymer emulsion was100—180nm.The glass transition temperature(Tg)was 17.7℃.The GPC chromatogram of the copolymer showed that the weight-average molecular weight was equal to1.94×10^5 g·mol^-1.The experimental results also showed that the emulsifier had wellemulsifying property,which could be applied to St/BA/EHA emulsion polymerization.The water-resistant performance of paper was improved significantly when disodium nonylphenol polyoxyethylene monoester sulfoitaconate was used as emulsifier,and the Cobb value reached 42.6g·m^-2 compared to that of the paper sized by sodium dodecyl sulfate as emulsifier.
