在众多批评莫言小说的评论家中,李建军是一位有着鲜明个性的否定性批评的代表之一,其《直议莫言与诺奖》可谓全面评析莫言创作的论文。针对此文,孟祥中的《对话〈直议莫言与诺奖〉》从各方面提出了商榷意见。鉴于孟文对一些事实的轻忽,在论辩过程中也存在割裂李文论述的连续性、抽离具体语境和跨论域批评等问题,未顾及"全篇""全人",而未能切实而有效地达到对话和商榷的目的。

Among the many critics of novels by Mo Yan, Li Jianjun is one of the distinctive representatives making negative criticism. His paper ＂Straight Comments on Mo Yan and His Nobel Prize＂ analyses his works comprehensively. In regard to his comments, Meng Xiangzhong presents his own opinions in his own paper. However, Meng＇s paper has ignored some facts, broken the continuity of Li＇s argument, diverted from concrete contexts, and criticized by going beyond domains, thus neglecting the＂whole text＂ and ＂whole person＂ and failing to achieve the purpose of efifcient dialogue and discussion.
