摘要
长期以来,由于受诸多因素的影响,我国高校的大学英语教学一直偏重知识的传授,忽视了对学生自主学习能力的培养,教学效果差强人意,这种现象在民族边远地区尤为突出。文章分析了民族边远地区高校大学英语教学所面临的问题,认为在民族边远地区高校培养学生英语自主学习能力势在必行。论文探讨了培养学生自主学习能力的策略,并对该策略的适用范围提出了建议。
For a long time,due to many factors,College English teaching in Chinese universities has put much emphasis on imparting knowledge,neglecting the cultivation of students' autonomous learning ability,and the teaching result is less desirable.This phenomenon is particularly popular in ethnic remote areas.The paper analyzes the problems faced by College English teaching in the universities in ethnic remote areas and points out that it is imperative to cultivate students' autonomous learning ability.It discusses the strategies of cultivating students' autonomous learning ability and puts forward some suggestions on the applied range of such strategies.
