民国江苏省会这段历史,是镇江历史的重要组成部分,时间不长,却是镇江向近现代转型的关键时期。通过梳理镇江省会期间城市规划、建设史料,明晰镇江城市在民国省会期间的发展历程,有助于了解镇江如何从鸦片战争后的通商口岸城市发展成现代行政省会城市。整理总结这段历史,探究其文化脉络传承,也有益于今天历史文化名城保护和现代化建设。

The history of being capital of Jiangsu Province in the period of the Republic of China is an important part of Zhengjiang＇ s history. Though not long, it is a critical period for Zhengjiang＇ s transformation to modern. Through analyzing the urban planning and historical data of construction during the period of being capital of Jiangsu Province, clarifying the development process of Zhengjiang during the above period, it is helpful for us to understand how Zhengjiang developed from a treaty port city after the Opium War to modern provincial capital. Summarizing this phase of history and exploring its cultural context is also good for today＇ s the protection of famous historical and cultural city and modernization construction.
