青岛西海岸:新区展新颜

New Outlook of Qingdao's West Coast New Zone

2014年6月3日,国务院批复同意设立青岛西海岸新区,青岛西海岸新区正式上升为国家级,成为中国第9个国家级新区。这是继2011年批准设立山东半岛蓝色经济区之后,对深入推进山东半岛蓝色经济区建设的又一重大战略举措。对全面实施国家海洋发展战略、深化改革海洋综合管理体制、加快推进深远海开发与陆海统筹发展具有重要意义。

On June 3,2014,the State Council of China approved the establishment of Qjngdao's West Coast New Zone.Since then,Qingdao s West Coast NewZone has been upgraded to a national level new zone,ranking as China's ninth national level new zone.Qingdao's West Coast New Zone is located in the western coast of Jiaozhou Bay,which covers all the administrative region of Huangdao District,Qingdao City.Its continental land covers an area of roughly 2,096 square kilometers and the ocean area covers about 5,000 square meters.The new zone has rich ocean resources,a good ecological environment,vast development space and convenient transport conditions,allowing it to have the highest number of national level industrial parks and zones with complete functions and concentrated polices in the Shandong Peninsula.In the newzone the advantageous industrial groups involved in harbor,petrochemicals,household electric appliances,electronics,shipbuilding and ocean engineering,auto and spare parts and machinery,have been formed.So it has powerful comprehensive economic strength and regional development competence.
