Recently Qingdao Volunteer Service College has been established.This is the first volunteer service in China which is jointly established by the government and a higher vocational college as well as an important measure for Qingdao to fully promote the systematic construction of volunteer service.After being established,according to the goal of training 1,000 volunteers every year,the college will be jointly invested by the government and the vocational college and correspondingly receive social donations so as to launch training for the core volunteers.The volunteers receiving training will not only get professional instructions related to the posts concerning psychological treatment,civility,emergency rescue,fitness guide,and repair of water and electricity,but also can get the professional Qualification certificates,thus making the training an important reward for the volunteers.The establishment of Qingdao Volunteer Service College aims to promote the systematic and normalized development of the volunteer service in Qingdao.The launch of Qingdao Volunteer Service Comprehensive Management Information System,among others,provides support for it.Qingdao Volunteer Service Net(http://qdzyfw.qingdao.gov.cn) is a window oriented to the public and the volunteers established by Qingdao Volunteer Service Comprehensive Management Information System as well as the official website of Qingdao Volunteer Service Association,on which 20 sections,such as Volunteer News,Activity Information,Learning and Training and Activity,are established.Qingdao Volunteer Service Net can answer the volunteer service requests from the public and realize the standard and high-efficiency management of recruitment,registration,management,deployment,labor-hour validation and assessment.
