On the afternoon of November 6,Qingdao City held a joint conference on the issues concerning building up a national civilized city.The conference made deployment and mobilization on the work related to undergoing the test for building up a national civilized city and construction of the adolescent thinking and ethics,and emphasized that rectification should be reinforced to ensure that every index could hit the standard.The conference also conveyed the instructions on the work concerning building up a national civilized city made by Li Qun,member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and the secretary of the CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee.Li Qun pointed out that the honor of national civilized city is the most valuable intangible asset and brand for a city.For many years,the work of building up a national civilized city had received the enthusiastic advocacy,energetic support and extensive participation of the cadres and citizens of Qingdao.Among the same group of cities,the testing result of Qingdao City ranked in the forefront.Through building up a national civilized city,the moral quality of the citizens of Qingdao had been gready enhanced and the city appearance had been remarkably improved.Currently the new battery of testing on the work of building up national civilized cities was about to start.The governmental departments at various levels should carefully study and implement the series of important speeches made by General Secretary Xi Jinping as well as the essence of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 18th National Congress of the CPC,have a full understanding of the importance of work concerning building up a national civilized city.With full enthusiasm,abundant energy and high standards,the governmental departments at various levels should promote the implementation of the work concerning building up a national civilized city to ensure that Qingdao would rank in the leading position in the test this year.
