Interpreting the Developing Planning of Industrial Transformation of Qingdao's West Coast New Zone

6月3日,国务院批复设立青岛西海岸新区,要求新区以＂海洋经济发展＂为主题,服务于青岛建设区域性经济中心和国际化城市的发展定位,为促进东部沿海地区经济率先转型发展、建设海洋强国发挥积极作用,为探索全国海洋经济科学发展新路径发挥示范作用。为更好地担当国家战略使命,新区突出＂蓝高新＂,加快＂转调创＂,深入实施＂高端、高质、高效＂产业发展战略,确定了＂提升六大支柱产业、培育十大新兴产业、打造六大特色产业＂的＂616＂产业发展思路,构建以先进制造业、高端服务业为支撑的现代产业体系。

With a view to better taking on the national strategic mission,Qingdao's West Coast New Zone has determined a '616' industrial development idea,which aims to build up a modern industrial system supported by advanced manufacturing industry and highend service industry.By applying new technologies,new arts and crafts,new flows,new equipment and new materials,the West Coast New Zone will boost the development of six pillar industries and build up the industrial groups worth 100 billion yuan.By giving prominence to the theme of ocean economy,the West Coast New Zone will cultivate 10 rising industries and gradually build up ecological,intellectual,service-oriented,and integrated industrial groups worth 100 billion yuan.
