红纸于我们,或许只是它火红的颜色,而红纸于她,却是满目的风景和生灵。经她一双巧手的精心裁剪,—张红纸可以变成娇艳欲滴的花儿、灵动逼真的鱼儿和惟妙性肖的人物……她像魔术师一般,将人们眼中一张张最为普通的红纸变成一幅幅灵动而有生气的画卷,美得让人赞叹。她叫李翠敏,拥有一双会剪纸的巧手。如果说这双巧手是上苍赋予她的＂礼物＂,那＂痴心剪纸50年,一腔热血终不悔＂的豪言则是她对于剪纸艺术最真挚的爱恋。

Li Cuimin loved paper-cuts in her childhood.The fantastic mountains and waters of her hometown endowed her with the talent to engage in paper-cut Icreation.Her experience of learning painting in her adolescent years laid a foundation tor her later paper-cut career.In her fifty years of paper-cutting,she has made innovations and improvement.With a piece of red paper and her skillful hands,she has created a number of brilliant works,which have formed her unique artistic style.Li Cuimin's paper-cuts cover an extensive scope of subject matters,such as the folk customs,myths and legends,and the works of classical Chinese literature.She is especially good at the paper-cuts of people.As a member of the China Folk Literature and Art Society,chairman of Shandong Handicraft Association,and one of the 10 Masters of Folk Art of Shandong Province,Li Cuimin thus far has created more than 1,000 paper-cut works covering the scope of four classical Chinese novels,the Great Wall,the outlaw heroes of Liangshan,images of Chinese women,100 dogs and 100 deer.At the Third Chinese Folk Arts and Crafts Expo,her papercut work The Great Wall won the gold prize and was permanently collected by the Organizing Committee of the 13th Olympic Collection Expo.Her paper-cut I Love You China won the gold prize at the Series Exhibition of the 2007 Chinese Cultural Heritages and Chinese Folk Art Works.Her paper-cut work Olympic Games Feeling won gold prize at the Paper-cup Exhibition for greeting the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and was collected by the Chinese National Agricultural Museum.Her papercut work The Chinese Nation won the gold prize at the 'Rufeng Mount Tai Cup' Qilu Folk Handicraft Works Exhibition of the First International Popular Art Festival held in Shandong.Her paper-cut work Love with the Republic wont he gold prize at the First National Paper Show held at Daguanyuan in Beijing to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.In 2006,Li Cuimin's artistic career was included in the 'Chinese Folk Paper-cut History.'
