The Culture of The Japanese “HASHI”

＂箸＂就是筷子。日本箸的传说历史久远,但真正意义上的箸起源于中国。箸从中国传到日本,逐渐融入日本饮食文化和日常生活中,最终发展成有别于中国的日本箸,并从日本民族的食物结构、饮食习惯、地理环境和人文风俗中生发出相应的习惯、礼仪、规范和习俗,形成独特的日本箸文化。

＂Hashi＂ is chopsticks. The history of the hashi legend in Japan is very long, but the real hashi has originally come from China. Since then, gradually hashi had been becoming the ingredients of Japanese eating culture and their lives, and eventually has developed to the unique Japanese hashi, and have grown the habit, pro- priety, norms and custom that relate to the hashi in the traditional Japanese food structure, eating custom, natural features and humanity-convention, which finally formed as Japanese hashi culture.
