2001年《走向世界》就曾专访过他，时隔13年后，李润和先生再次接受本刊专访，他说自己与《走向世界》也是老朋友了。他用一口流利的中文讲述自己与山东的故事，畅谈安东孔子学院的儒学特色化之路，表达着对中国和中国文化无尽的热爱。

Lee Yun Hwa is a scholar who loves Chinese culture and a messenger who makes every effort to promote the development of the friendship between Korea and China.More than 20 years ago,when he came to China for the first time,he predicted boldly that better things would appear in this country.Today,he says that the gene of cultural China under the leadership of Xi Jinping will bring the Chinese character to the world.In 2001,Openings once had an exclusive interview with him.13 years later,Lee Yun Hwa gave an exclusive interview again.He told the history of the relationship between Shandong and him in fluent Chinese.He talked freely about the path of Confucianism in the Confucius Institute at Andong National University and expressed his endless love of China and Chinese culture.It was his 27 th visit to Shandong.It was Lee Yun Hwa who founded and developed the Confucius Institute of Andong University which involved the cooperation between Andong and Qufu Normal University.Many people who know him would definitely praise him.They think he is not only "an old China hand",but also a folk ambassador.Besides,he also works well in numerous identities,such as the professor in the Department of History in Andong National University of Korea,the dean of the Confucius Institute at Andong National University and so on.
