我是两年前来到迪拜工作的,是约20万名在阿联酋生活工作的中国人之一。中国与阿联酋的文化和商业关系日益紧密。作为一个在迪拜工作和生活的中国人,我发现两国文化有很多相似之处,这是一件很有意思的事情。好比说在迪拜的商业环境中,很多商业活动是建立在私人关系的基础上。而在中国,许多人都把同事和客户当作朋友看待,而不仅仅是商业伙伴。
I moved to Dubai a couple of years ago and am one of an estimated 200,000 Chinese living and working in the Emirates.China and the UAE are forging ever-closer cultural and business ties and it is interesting for me as a Chinese expat in Dubai to see the synergies between the two nations.For example,in the business environment a lot of store is set by personal relationships.I have found that in Dubai,as in China,many executives view colleagues and clients more as friends than as business partners.Dubai is also doing an enormous amount to make visitors from China feel at home.From shopping to travel to work to healthcare-in Dubai everything is easy.It is also an incredibly safe place and I never worry about going out late at night.If I had to sum it up in three words I'd go for:'vision','opportunity' and 'determination'.
