D2D(Device-to-Device) communication is an important component of 5th generation (5G) mobile network. D2D devices could directly implement data transmission without any reliance on the basestation, and have the potential to increase the system capacity through reuse of the cell frequnecy resource. In order to encourage cellular users to participate in D2D communication, network operators need new pricing strategies of D2D communication. This paper firstly describes the basic concepts of D2D and its four main types, then proposes a earning model for D2D devices and operators in terms of DR-OC D2D communication pricing. And simulation is also conducted to investigate the effects of spectrum unit-price and awarded bandwidth on the revenue for devices and operators. Simulations indicate that the operators could balance the revenue for devices and operators by adjusting awarded bandwidth and thus attract more users to participate in D2D communication.
