Import of textile and apparel decreased

<正>Textile industrial value added up6.7%in Q1Textile industrial economic figures showed recently,China’s textile industrial value added expanded 6.7 percent year on year in the first quarter of 2015,the data slightly lower than the level of GDP growth and compared with a few years ago it has dropped significantly.

In October in 2014, imports of national textile and apparel was 2.18 billon USD, dropped 4.7% year-on-year. 1-10 month, accumulative total imports of textile and ap- parelwas 22.16 billon USD,down 1.1%, the cumulative trade surplus was 226.31 billon USD,with growth of 7.1%. In October, textile exports grew by 13.8%, more than 8.2% of the increase of cloth- ing, from the analysis of quantity and price index, mainly driven by the growth of quantity （textile export quantity index for 115.7）, and the garment is mainly driven by the export price （the price index for 102.2）.The commodity with the rapid growth in Textiles is mainly the fabric （up 17.2%） and manufactured goods （up 12%）, growth of yarn was only 5.5%. total growth of exports of knitted garments, woven garments was 7.4%, exports of the knitted apparel with low price dropped 0.8%, woven garments grew 24.5%.
