Schleiermacher on Judaism

"现代神学之父"施莱尔马赫对宗教的本质做了全新的界定,肯定宗教的多样性和实证性,并提出了宗教谱系学。依据其宗教观及其对犹太教与基督教、《旧约》与《新约》、历史上的耶稣与信仰的基督之间的关系的论述,反映他的犹太教观。虽然激烈地反对传统观念,然而对于犹太教,他却承袭了很多传统的偏见,未能从他所倡导的宗教直观出发公正地对待它,而这反过来又影响了他的基督教观。

Schleiermacher,the father of modern theology gave religion a new definition,affirmed the diversity and positivity of religion,and proposed the genealogy of religion. This paper critically investigates his view of Judaism according to his view of religion as well as his view of relation between Judaism and Christianity,Old Testament and New Testament, historical Jesus and the Christ of Faith. Though radically opposing to the traditional view, he inherited many traditional prejudices over Judaism,therefore was unable to do justice to Judaism from the religious intuition which he considered as the key stone,and this in turn influences his view of Christianity.
