On the Writing Style of Chant Poems in Early Tang Dynasty

初唐咏物诗创作风气颇盛。与六朝咏物诗相比,初唐咏物诗体现出如下新气象:宫廷咏物诗祛离了南朝宫体咏物诗的香艳气息;王绩、四杰、陈子昂、郭震等的咏物诗一定程度上回归了诗骚及汉魏以来的比兴传统;沈佺期、宋之问等宫廷诗人遭到贬谪后创作的少量咏物之作,多触物生感,情志内涵有所拓展。

Chant poems of the early Tang Dynasty were different from the Six Dynasties. First, early Tang Dynasty poets barely described women in their chant poems. Second, some poets such as WangJi, Four Celebrities”,Chen TzuAng, Guo Zhen inherited the creative traditions in the book of Songs. Last, Shen Quanqi and Song Zhiwen also wrote some chant poems to express the sense of exile.
