摘要
历史地理学作为研究人类历史时期地理环境及其变化的新兴学科,由于其研究对象的复杂性与研究任务的多样性而具有与地理学、历史学、考古学、生态学、环境科学等众多学科之间的学科交叉性的特点,这一特点对推进地理学、历史学等相关学科创新发展具有学术价值。
Historical geography is a new discipline. This paper explores the complexity of its research objects and the diversity of research areas. The author argues that interdisciplinary study is a prominent characteristics of historical geography, since it shares many research areas with geography, history, archeology, ecology and environmental science. This unique characteristics will be helpful for promoting the innovative development of some related subjects such as geography and history etc.
