Offe's Theory of Crisis of the Welfare State in the Perspective of Critical Theory

福利国家危机理论是法兰克福学派第三代主要代表人物之一的克劳斯·奥菲最为重要的学术思想。他将德国马克思主义理论传统,特别是法兰克福学派的批判理论传统与系统功能主义相结合,借鉴了结构主义马克思主义的某些观点对福利国家进行生产批判、政治批判与现代性批判,对当代资本主义社会的病症进行诊断,特别对福利国家存在的危机及其发展趋势进行了分析。

Claus Offe is the main representative character of the third generation of Frankfurt school, his theory of crisis of the welfare state is his most important academic thought. He combines the Frankfurt school＇s critical theory which comes from traditional German Marxism with systemic functional theory, and learns from some ideas of the Strueturalism Marxism to critique production, po- litical and modernity of the welfare state, to diagnose the symptoms of the late capitalism society, es- pecially for the crisis of the welfare state and its general trend.
