GAO Qing-hai's Genus Philosophy and the Fate of Mankind as a Community

在全球化运动推动"人类命运共同体"形成的时代趋势下,高清海教授生前提出的"类哲学"已经显示出重大的思想创新意义,但它需要我们给予阐释、丰富和推展。高清海将人的"类存在"的充分展开,界定在马克思关于人类发展的第三大形态即"自由个性"阶段,并以"类本位"相称,说明他强调的超生理学的"类"概念,虽然是相对于生理学的"种"概念而言的,却并非说否定后者就可以直接达到前者;从历史的角度看,这要经过一个否定之否定的漫长过程,其中间环节是"族",包括前现代的"种族"和现代的"民族";而从理论上说,类哲学应当是"个体"、"共同体"(民族)、"人类"和"大自然"的这四重维度的相辅相成。

The genus Philosophy raised by Professor GAO Qing-hai has show ed great significance in creativity of thinking in the forming of mankind fate as a community promoted by globalization,in the meantime it needs more interpreting,defining and developing. Professor GAO gave the genus existence of mankind a w hole expression and defined it as the third major stage and form of human beings' development of M arx w hich is'freedom of personality'and named as genus standard. GAO's concept of genus is beyond biological species concept and it takes a long process of the negation of negation to reach from the former to latter,including the mid-stage concept of family,the pre-modern concept of race and the modern concept of nationality. Theoretically speaking,GAO's concept of genus should be the combinationand complement of the four levels,w hich are,individuality,community,mankind and the nature.
