将20世纪中国美学作为具有普遍联系的整体进行全程贯通的历史研究,这个工作始于上世纪90年代初。20多年来,研究工作取得了重要的进展,同时也存在一些亟须解决的问题。进一步的研究应客观完整地展现百年美学的历史图景和理论格局,深入探索和揭示中国美学从古代转向现代的发展规律,纠正当前普遍存在的将现代性等同于纯审美的理论偏差,为理解当代美学和艺术的现状及未来走向提供全面真实的历史参照,为中国美学和艺术的发展繁荣提供来自历史主脉和生活深处的强劲动力。

It was in the early 1990 sthat the academia first started to view Chinese aesthetics of the 20 th century as a universally related integrity and initiated a thoroughly historical research.Over the past 20 years,there has been great progress as well as problems that need to be solved urgently.In order to provide a thorough and authentic historical reference for the understanding of the present situation and future direction of contemporary aesthetics and arts,the further study should demonstrate objectively the historical landscape and theoretic pattern of aesthetics over the past century,explore and reveal in depth the patterns of how the ancient Chinese aesthetics developed into the modern one,and redress a common theoretic deviation that equates modernity with pure aesthetics.
