在现代文学中,民俗叙事和家园意识是作家们通常表现的两个重要主题,前者成为后者的载体,而后者又构成前者的旨归。从"五四"时期的鲁迅、周作人等人,直到2、30年代的废名、沈从文和老舍等人,他们都钟情于对民俗的叙写,以此来寄托他们深厚沉实的家园意识。

In Chinese modern literature, folk narrative and home consciousness are two important themes writers want to express. The former is the vector of the later, and the later is the purport of the former. From the writers such as LU Xun, ZHOU Zuo-Ren in the may 4th movement of 1919, till the writers such as FEI Ming, SHEN Cong-Wen and LAO She in the 1920s and 1930s, they all love folk narrative and in this way they express their deep home consciousness.
